Victor Osimhen has been predicted by former Nigerian international Mutiu Adepoju to be the next African player of the year.
No other football player on the continent, in his opinion, performs at Osimhen’s level.
In 18 Serie A games for Napoli, the Super Eagles attacker has 17 goals.
Osimhen currently leads the scoring chart in Italy with 15 goals.
“Nobody is at the level he is now, and I believe he still has time ahead to do more,” Adepoju told Brila FM.
“If now was the moment to pick the African best player, he will win it easily.”
