Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will face South Korea in the quarterfinals of the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which is currently taking place in Argentina.
South Korea overcame Ecuador 3-2 on Thursday night to secure a match against the Flying Eagles.
The Flying Eagles will face South Korea in the quarter-finals on Sunday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Estadio nico Madre de Ciudades in Santiago del Estero.
This will be the third encounter at this level between the two countries.
South Korea defeated Nigeria 2-1 in their first match in 2005 in the Netherlands.
In 2013, the Flying Eagles triumphed 1-0 in Turkey.
