Chaos erupted at the Federal Secretariat on Monday morning as a fire broke out, engulfing a section of the building.

It was gathered that the fire engulfed the Head of Civil Service Office section of the Secretariat.

The incident caused a diversion of vehicular movement from the Federal Court of Appeal area.

At the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
