The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has issued a new order to all passengers.

NCAA ordered that all mobile phones must be completely switched off during aircraft take-off and landing.

In a post on X on Tuesday, Michael Achimugu, director of public affairs and consumer protection at the NCAA, announced that regulations on the use of phones and other electronic devices during flights in Nigeria have now been harmonized.

The directive follows an emergency meeting held with industry stakeholders earlier on Tuesday.
