The Senate on Saturday expressed sadness over the sudden death of its member, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

Metrowatch reported that the lawmaker, who represented the Anambra South Senatorial District, died in London after a brief illness.

Reacting in a statement by its spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu, the upper legislative chamber described the deceased as an exemplary leader, a committed public servant, and an unyielding advocate for his constituents.

According to the Senate, Ubah’s death marks a significant loss for the chamber, Anambra State and the entire nation.
