President Bola Tinubu has hailed the Super Eagles of Nigeria for beating South Africa at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Tinubu charged Jose Peseiro’s men to go and soar in the AFCON finals.

He stated this in a post via his X account after the match.

Tinubu wrote, “From the Southernmost cape of Africa to the Plains of Mauritania and the coast of West Africa…. You have made us all Proud to be Nigerians! Go… Soar in the AFCON Finals Well done, boys!”

Recall that the Super Eagles needed penalties to see off South Africa in their semi-final clash on Wednesday.
