The English Premier League (EPL) matches this weekend will be held at stadiums around the country.

The opening game, at 12:30 p.m., will pit Luton Town against Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester City, the Premier League champions, will want to bounce back against last season’s runner-up Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Sunday after falling to Wolves.

Pep Guardiola’s team presently leads the EPL standings by one point over second-placed Tottenham and third-placed Arsenal.

According to Metrowatchxtra.com, the four games this weekend are likely to produce shocking results.

1. Burnley vs Chelsea: This match will take place on Saturday at Turf Moor and the kick-off time is 3pm, Nigerian time. Burnley currently sit in 18th position on the Premier League table with four points from seven games, while Chelsea are in 11th position with eight points from the same number of games. Vincent Kompany’s side won their first Premier League match of the campaign a few days ago against Luton Town. They could build on that result and surprise Chelsea at home.

2. Brighton vs Liverpool: Both teams are in form so far this season. Brighton are in 6th position on the log with just a point behind Liverpool, who sit in 4th position. The two sides lost their last Premier League matches against Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively. However, Brighton could get a good result against the Reds as they would be playing at home. The match will take place on Sunday afternoon.

3. Man United vs Brentford: Man United will host Brentford at Old Trafford. But Old Trafford is not a strong ground as it used to be as some teams have beaten the Red Devils in front of their home supporters this season. Brentford drew 1-1 in their last Premier League tie against Nottingham Forest, while Man United lost 1-0 at home against Crystal Palace. However, Brentford will be hoping to draw confidence from Palace’s clash against Man United when they travel to Old Trafford on Saturday.

4. Luton Town vs Tottenham: Luton Town are by far the underdogs going into this clash against Spurs. Luton Town sit just above the relegation zone (17th position), while Tottenham are in second position on the log. However, anything can happen as Luton will be hoping to count on their home advantage in front of their fans against Tottenham.
