According to Foot Mercato, striker Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain is negotiating a new deal with the club.
This comes after the 24-year-old was reinstated to the first-team roster by the Ligue 1 winners.
After making it clear he would not sign a contract extension with PSG, Mbappe was demoted to the reserves.
In a meeting on Sunday, club president Nasser Al Khelaifi reportedly told the players that “Kylian is invested in the club” and is now at the disposal of manager Luis Enrique.
Mbappe has now started discussing a contract extension.
Mbappe would be committed to Les Parisiens until 2025, but it would just be a one-year contract extension.
A departure clause may also be agreed upon privately by the parties. The prolific attacker would leave the French capital the next summer, likely for Real Madrid, and pay PSG a sizable transfer price.
