Again, Supreme Court Adjourns Nnamdi Kanu’s Case to September | METROWATCH

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), filed a lawsuit, and the Supreme Court has once more postponed the hearing until September 14.

Remember that on November 3, 2022, the secessionist appealed the Court of Appeal’s decision to halt the Department of State Services, or DSS, to the Supreme Court.

On October 28, 2023, the appeal court had ordered a stay of execution of its previous decision clearing Kanu of all charges and ordering his release from the DSS headquarters.

It should be recalled that the apex court had, on April 27, 2023, heard the case but adjourned the matter till Thursday (today).
