Members of the House have voted to remove Hon. Chinedum Orji as Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly.
The impeachment of the Speaker was reportedly supported by about 18 of the 24-member body on Tuesday morning.
Ginger Onwusibe, Solomon Akpulonu, Munachim Alozie, and Kelechi Onuzuruike were the four members that steadfastly refused to sign.
His removal followed a motion moved by Hon. Chukwudi Apugo (Umuahia East), and seconded by Hon. Okey Igwe (PDP, Umunneochi).
