The Senate and the Federal House of Representatives arms of the National Assembly, on Monday, announced the postponement of resumption of plenary till Tuesday March 21, 2023.

Although no reason was given as at the time of filing this report, however, the development may not be unconnected with the postponement of the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections from March 11 to 18 March, 2023.

metrowatchxtra.com recalls that both legislative house had adjourned plenary till Tuesday March 14 to enable lawmakers partake in the states poll before it was shifted by INEC.
