The founding director-general of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governors forum, and chairman, Governors Mandate Network, Earl Osaro Onaiwu has congratulated H.E. Sen (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the executive governor of Delta state, on his emergence as the PDP’s vice presidential candidate to run with H.E. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 general elections.
Earl Onaiwu stated that the choice of Dr. Okowa as running mate to Atiku is timely and best to harmonize all interest to rescue the country from hopelessness which the APC represents.
“I want to specially congratulate the executive governor of Delta state, HE, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for answering to yet another call to service. It is by no means an easy feat, and it takes courage to toe this path towards rescuing our country which has nosedived into ruins.
“I have no doubts in the capacity of the Delta state governor to bring his wealth of experience to the table to help salvage this country, Onaiwu said.
While addressing pressmen in Abuja, earlier today, Earl Osaro Onaiwu urged present and former governors of the PDP to rally round their colleague to help deliver on this call of national duty.
“The synergy amongst the PDP governors has always been something of envy, and so, I want to urge all the governors of PDP, both present and former governors to rally round their brother and colleague, Dr Okowa to deliver on this mandate.
The quest to rescue Nigerian is a task that requires all hands on deck to achieve” Earl Onaiwu noted.
