A Kano State Magistrate Court presided over by Chief Magistrate Muhammad Jibir, has ordered Abdulmalik Tanko, Hashim Issyaku and Fatima to be remanded in a correctional centre over the killing of a 5-year-old girl, Hanifa Abubakar.

The order followed their arraignment by the police at the court located at Gidan Murtala, Kano metropolis, on charges of criminal conspiracy, Kidnapping, concealing / Keeping in confinement a Kidnapped Person and culpable homicide on Monday.

It will be recalled that Hanifa was allegedly kidnapped on December 4, 2021, on her way back from Islamiyya and killed by her school teacher in Kano who initially demanded a N6m ransom from her parents.
