“The firemen, led by PFS11 Oluwaleye, quickly deployed to the scene of the accident. On getting to the scene, we met a petrol trailer tanker with registration number MAG 20 XB (Borno), with 45,000 litres capacity of PMS, which had lost control and swerved into a nearby pit.

“We swiftly swung into action by carpeting the spillage with foam chemical compound and neutralizing the flammability from trigger ignition that might lead to a fire outbreak.

“No lives were lost, and properties worth millions of naira were saved by the Fire Services Agency. CFS Awoyemi Seyi, a team of policemen, and a team of FRSC were in attendance for security and traffic control, respectively.”
