Barrister Olumide Akpata has won the Labour Party (LP) governorship primary election held on Thursday in Edo State.
Akpata, a former president of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), defeated other candidates in the primaries to clinch the LP ticket.
He will now fly the Labour Party flag for the Edo 2024 Governorship Election coming up September 21st.
