The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, Tuesday met with former governor of Rivers State and minister-designate, Nyesom Wike. Ganduje hosted Wike in his Abuja home.
This was disclosed on Twitter by Wike’s close associate, @TopboyChriss, who tweeted: “Nyesom Wike today visited the National Chairman of APC, Alhaji Umar Ganduje, at his residence in Abuja.”
Wike was proposed as one of President Bola Tinubu’s ministers a few weeks ago.
Wike was examined and approved for the ministerial position by the Senate two weeks ago.
Former Rivers State governor Wike is a part of the opposing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Wike refused to cooperate with Atiku Abubakar, the PDP candidate, during the presidential campaign.
Throughout the presidential campaign, he decided to work for Tinubu.
