Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian musician Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, has become the first African artist to reach one billion streams on the worldwide streaming platform Audiomack.
On Thursday, the streaming service revealed the news via its Twitter account.
Audiomack tweeted: Congratulations, Burna Boy, on becoming the first African artist to hit 1 billion Audiomack streams.”
The ‘Last Last’ singer accomplished the accomplishment by combining the streams of his most recent three albums and singles.
Burna Boy is also the platform’s most-followed African musician, having over four million followers.
