The All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost Imo State to presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi in the Saturday’s presidential election.
Mr. Obi defeated the ruling party’s candidate, Bola Tinubu to win the APC-controlled South Eastern state.
He polled 352,904 votes ahead of APC’s Tinubu who scored 66,171 votes. While Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar scored 30,044, NNPP got 1,536.
