Members of INEC Unit 13 in Kokori, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, on Tuesday received branded Atiku/Okowa wrappers and bags of rice solely procured by the Executive Assistant on Communications to the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Governor of Delta State, Olorogun Fred Oghenesivbe Esq.

Oghenesivbe who was recently made the leader of the Unit, said the branded wrappers are suitable for all occasion, urging them to wear the Atiku/Okowa designs during Ethiope East Local Government Campaign scheduled to hold on the 18th day of January, 2023 at Isiokolo.

He said PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, are in a hurry to reset and rebuild the nation’s economy mismanaged by the All Progressives Congress, APC, noting that PDP national government will solve insecurity problems once and for all, through the establishment of state police and other security strategies, as well as restructure Nigeria to encourage healthy competition wherein states or regions will control their God-given resources and tax to the federal government.

Oghenesivbe, who is also the Assistant Deputy Director, Media and Publicity of the PDP in Delta State, appealed to Kokori Unit 13 with voting strength of 850 registered voters to be actively involved in the ongoing PDP Unit to unit, door to door and community to community campaigns to further sensitize eligible voters on the need to rescue Nigeria from APC, by voting PDP; Atiku/Okowa for President, Sheriff-Onyeme for Governor and all candidates of the party.

He assured that the M.O.R.E agenda of the governorship candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, will advance the socioeconomic fortunes of the state through meaningful development, opportunity for all Deltans, realistic reforms and enhanced peace and security, adding that Oborevwori is a tested and trusted leader, God fearing, humble, accessible and competent to take over from governor Okowa in 2023.

“Everyone of us is feeling and struggling with the economic hardship, acute hunger and poverty brought pon us by APC national government under President Mohmmadu Buhari. Our country is bleeding in all ramifications.

“From May 29, 2015 till date, APC mismanaged Nigeria’s economy, borrowed billions of dollars, and our country is dividend along ethnic and religious lines.

APC Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket grossly undermines the robust Christian voting population in Nigeria. We must prove beyond doubt that Christians are not second class citizens in Nigeria by rejecting APC at the polls in 2023.

“We must respond to APC’s bad governance on election days, and the best way of expressing our frustration and anger is to vote PDP on a five-over- five basis. The umbrella is the symbol of our party in the ballot papers, vote PDP in February and March next year,” Oghenesivbe said.
