In its business of distributing electricity to its teeming customers, Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has not relented in improving its functions.

The company has satisfactorily provided electricity services to commercial and industrial business customers, as well as government agencies, conducting an hitch-free service in Lagos.

Situated at 25, Marina Street, Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria, Eko Electricity Distribution Company is widely regarded as the flagship of the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI).

A strong advocate of equitable distribution of power, EKEDC says for electricity supply to be stable, it requires equitable distribution among households.

However, illegal connections can lead to an imbalance in distribution, thus, causing overloading and power tripping. Situations like this can lead to a prolonged outage in an area.

Harnessing every means of communication, EKEDC is one of the few Distribution companies that has utilized the power of social media in reaching out to its fans.

It inaundated them on the outage they were experiencing on Akanji Transformer in Ikate Zone, Surulere. The outage was due to a ruptured cable. Affected Areas: Akanji, Anjorin, and Alhaji Nuru.

While promising its technical team’s asserted efforts on rectifying the fault, the company also pleaded with customers to bear with them.

EKEDC still runs its mandate with a background awareness of its mission to empower the quality of lives of our customers, employees, community and other stakeholders through reliable power and quality services.
