Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Friday visited former Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, to sympathise with him over the abduction of his sister and her twin sons in Ibadan.

During the visit, the governor expressed concern over the incident and offered words of comfort to the family, assuring them that security agencies were working to secure the safe release of the victims.

Makinde also pledged the state government’s commitment to ensuring that those responsible for the abduction are identified, apprehended and brought to justice.

The governor’s visit comes amid growing concerns over insecurity and criminal activities in parts of the state, with renewed calls for stronger measures to protect lives and property.

Family members and associates of the former minister, who received the governor, appreciated the gesture and expressed optimism that the abducted victims would be rescued unharmed.
