Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu’s ambassadorial nominees have arrived at the Senate ahead of their scheduled ambassadorial screening on Thursday.
Some of the ambassador designates that were spotted at the National Assembly include former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode; former presidential spokesperson Reno Omokri and former Enugu state governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Also spotted was former Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau.
This comes amid a call from former Senate Leader, Ali Ndume, for Tinubu to withdraw his list of nominees.
The Senate asked former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, and former Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, to “take a bow and go” during the ambassadorial screening.
