Armed bandits during a monday morning attack on the Government Girls’ Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, Danko Wasagu council area of Kebbi State, abduct 25 girls from their dormetaries.

According to an unnamed source in the school, the attack took place in the wee hours of the morning when the heavily armed bandits attacked the boarding school with sophisticated weapons, killing the school’s Vice Principal, Hassan Makuku who put up a spirited fight against the invasion.

The source also confirmed that the criminals succeeded in injuring a security guard who was on duty in the school premises before escaping with as many as 25 girls.

The attackers were said to have moved the girls through the thick Savannah across the Zamfara axis, north east Nigeria which ensured that they would have been given natural cover in case of any urgent envisaged counter attack by the Nigerian troops while fleeing from the place where the crime was committed to unknown destinations.
