The Lagos state government has closed down Ajah market due to environmental infractions.

The announcement was made on X by the state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab on Monday, October 6.

This comes days after the state government also shut down Itedo market in the Lekki axis of the state for environmental.
