Rivers state governor, Sim Fubara has met with President Bola Tinubu in a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The duo met days after Fubara resumed office on September 19 following President Tinubu’s reversal of a state of emergency earlier imposed on Rivers State.
Recall that on March 18, 2025, the President imposed a State of Emergency on the oil-rich state following the protracted clash between the governor and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
