According to the statement, on Friday, September 5th, 2025, officers from Wudil Area Command arrested three suspects in connection with the killing and brought them to the Garko Police Division for further investigation.

The statement explained that while the suspects were undergoing interrogation, a crowd of youths armed with sticks and stones, protesting the de@th of the victim, “violently attacked the Division, disrupting police activities with the intent to lynch the arrested suspects”.
