Human rights lawyer, Dele Farotimi has stated that Nigerians are the ones to save themselves.
He stated this on Thursday, while reacting to a comment from an X user.
Farotimi said Nigerians expecting a messiah as President in 2027 should have their brains examined.
He was reacting to an X user @herdeys1 who wondered if the former Anambra State governor is a messiah.
The user had posed: “Is Peter Obi the messiah we are expecting?”
Responding, Farotimi wrote: “I expect no messiah to save Nigeria and the victims of Nigeria, and anyone expecting a messiah should have their brains examined.
“Your messiah resides in your mirror, nobody’s coming to save us, it is up to us to save ourselves.”
