Nigeria’s Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has made a national blunder during a plenary session at the National Assembly.

In a trending video shared online, Akpabio was seen mistakenly referring to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu instead of the late Muhammadu Buhari, saying his burial was done in a proud manner.

A video of the shocking clip was posted on X (formerly Twitter) by the official handle of AIT, @AIT_Online.

In the video, while addressing the Senate, Akpabio praised the nation’s handling of the funeral, saying: “The whole country is very proud of what this administration has done, in the way and manner president Bola Ahmed Tinubu was honored and was buried.”
