Court Orders VeryDarkMan to Stop Talking about Prophet Fufeyin

The order barred VeryDarkMan from talking or speaking about Prophet Fufeyin in the ongoing legal battle between the two

Popular activist, Verydarkman has been barred from talking about Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.

The order was given by a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) sitting in Nyanya.

The order barred VeryDarkMan from talking or speaking about Prophet Fufeyin in the ongoing legal battle between the two.

The court, presided over by Justice A.Y. Shafa, has granted a full interlocutory injunction restraining VDM from making any further defamatory statements against Prophet Fufeyin or interfering with the ongoing legal proceedings. This follows the dismissal of preliminary objections filed by VDM challenging the suit.

Back in April, it was reported that Prophet Fufeyin’s lawyer, Ihensekhien Samuel, confirmed that the court had heard all pending applications, including the activist’s objections. At the time, VDM reportedly agreed not to publish further defamatory content related to the matter.

Though judgment was initially reserved for 2 July, no further development was made public until the resumed session on Thursday. Following the proceedings, Mr. Samuel released a statement confirming the court’s rulings.

“The FCT High Court today in two court rulings against Verydarkman dismissed all preliminary objections filed by him and instead granted a complete interlocutory order of status quo ante bellum until the final determination of the suit filed by Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry,” Samuel said.

He added that the ruling followed a motion on notice for interlocutory injunctive orders filed by Prophet Fufeyin’s legal team.

The case stems from VDM’s repeated online allegations against the prophet, which the church leader claims are defamatory and damaging to his reputation. The court’s ruling marks a major development in the case, effectively restricting VDM’s public commentary on the matter until the final verdict is delivered.
