The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled by-elections in affected constituencies to take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
The elections are being organised to fill vacant seats in the National and State Assemblies, which have arisen due to resignations, deaths, or court annulments.
The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, disclosed this during the consultative meeting with political parties in Abuja on Thursday.
