2027: Coalition Submits Request to INEC to Register New Political Party

The Nigeria National Coalition Group (NNCG) has submitted a request to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) seeking to register a new political party ahead of the 2027 general elections in Nigeria.

This was made public in an application letter, dated 19th June, 2025, and was stamped received by INEC on 20 June, 2025.

The name of the proposed political party is All Democratic Alliance (ADA).

According to Vanguard, the letter was signed by the association’s Protem National Chairman, Chief Akin A. Rickets.

The request contained the acronym, slogan, logo, manifesto, constitution and ideology of the proposed party.

The letter read in part: “Application For Registration As A Political Party.

“We respectfully write to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, requesting the registration of our association, the All Democratic Alliance, ADA, as a political party.

“This is sequel to the decision taken by the Nigerian National Coalition Group to sponsor our association for full registration.
