The departing Real Madrid icon, Luka Modric’s next destination, has been disclosed.

The Croatian could be linking up with legendary football star, Lionel Messi, at US Major League Soccer side, Inter Miami.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Modric will join the Argentine legend at the Major League Soccer club as a free agent.

Modric has already made his decision to leave Los Blancos at the end of the season known.

There were reports last month that Messi had requested that Inter Miami sign Modric and now his likelihood of joining the football maestro in the MLS has further increased.

The two football legends came against each other in LaLiga while Messi was at Barcelona and Modric at Real Madrid.

For Messi, discussions around his future at the MLS has not been very smooth.

Messi joined the Herons in the summer of 2023 and his deal with the club will expire this summer.

Inter Miami are currently sixth position in the Eastern Conference table with 22 points, trailing league leaders Philadelphia by seven points.
