Pastor Giwa Reveals How Tinubu Can be Defeated in 2027

Pastor Adewale Giwa, the Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry has revealed the political coalition that can defeat President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Speaking on Monday, he claimed that a joint ticket of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi would defeat Tinubu in 2027.

Speaking with DAILY POST, the clergyman said the opposition could not defeat Tinubu because he was destined to be Nigeria’s president in 2023.

This comes as Obi said his involvement in the opposition coalition was to fight against bad governance, hunger, and poverty, not personal political ambition.

He made this remark while reacting to reports of an alleged agreement with Atiku to serve as his presidential running mate in 2027.

However, the clergyman said Tinubu’s administration is anti-people and has not impressed the majority of Nigerians.

He lamented that Tinubu’s decision to remove fuel subsidy upon resumption of office only favours the rich and not the poor Nigerians.

According to Pastor Giwa, Tinubu will win in 2027, if Obi refuses to be Atiku’s running mate.

He said: “Atiku, Obi ticket will defeat Tinubu because the current administration has not impressed the majority of Nigerians.

“The problem I have with the Tinubu-led government is the removal of subsidies. It only favors the rich and politicians, but against the poor.

“Any government that fails to consider the poor is anti-citizens. This administration, so far, has undermined the rights and well-being of Nigerians.

“Tinubu was designed to be the president of Nigeria in the last 2023 election, and that was the reason why the opposition could not come together. This time around, if Peter Obi agrees to be a running mate to Atiku, Tinubu will lose the 2027 election.

“However, aside from this, Tinubu is Tinubu. That means his administration will go beyond 2027.”

The Akure-based pastor also insisted that mobile phones can’t replace hardcopy Bible, saying the holy Spirit does not interpret when a reader uses his phones instead of the hardcopy Bible.

“A phone cannot represent a hardcopy Bible. Most believers today go to church with their phones instead of the Bible.

“Technology is with us from the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed, and should be used wisely and for God’s glory, as the Bible guides us.

“Social Media has taken away the Bible from so many believers because the hardcopy Bible is more spiritual than your phones. Reading from the hardcopy Bible is more spiritual than from phones.

“If you are using your phones, the holy Spirit will not interpret the scriptures but when you are using the hardcopy Bible, the holy Spirit will interpret what you are reading,” he said.
