By Ogochukwu Isioma. The recent Okpebholo Tribunal Victory has brought significant attention to the region.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Hon. Yakubu O. Musa, JP (Yakson), has congratulated Senator Monday Okpebholo on his victory at the Edo State Election Petition Tribunal, which upheld his election as governor of Edo State in the September 21, 2024 governorship election.

In a statement he personally signed, Hon. Musa described the tribunal’s ruling as a reflection of the people’s will and a reinforcement of the credibility of the electoral process.

“The tribunal’s affirmation of his triumph in the September 21st governorship election not only reflects the unwavering will of the people but also reinforces the credibility and transparency of the electoral process,” he stated.

Speaking on behalf of the people of Etsako West LGA, where he served as the Director-General of the Sen. Monday Okpebholo Campaign Council, Hon. Musa celebrated the victory as the result of dedicated efforts and unwavering commitment throughout the campaign.

“Our relentless efforts, dedication, and unwavering commitment throughout the rigorous campaign process have yielded success, and we remain steadfast in our support as you embark on this noble journey,” he noted.

He further expressed confidence in Sen. Okpebholo’s leadership, describing his victory as a “beacon of hope for a better and more prosperous Edo State.”

Hon. Musa, a chieftain of the APC and leader of the party in Auchi, Etsako West local government area of the state, assured Governor Okpebholo of his continued support as he leads Edo State towards progress and transformation.
