The 17th day of Ramadan was a historic occasion, as the Honourable Commissioner for Ministry of Human Services and Social Development, Hajia Rabi Salisu, hosted Youth Party Members and other youth groups to Iftar, in honour of the holy month of Ramadan.
The event provided an opportunity for the youth and other critical stakeholders to share innovative ideas on prioritizing youth engagement in governance, economic empowerment, and actualizing their potentials, while promoting good conduct towards becoming useful members of society.
The Honourable Commissioner emphasized, in her series of citizen engagement programmes, that youth are the most valuable asset of our society and must be carried along in governance.
This is crucial in curbing violence, extremism, and all forms of social vices. She assured them of the government’s continuous support and commitment to improving their livelihood, social integration, and social justice.
The Honourable Commissioner hopes for a more productive working relationship in the future.
She commended their loyalty and continued support for Governor Uba Sani’s laudable objectives & achievements noting the administration’s commitment to supporting Senator Malam Uba Sani’s efforts in promoting youth participation in governance, economic empowerment, and social inclusion.
