The Niger State Police Command has arrested six suspects after a violent clash between students of Annur Islamic Model School and youths in the Zuma Bread area of Chaichainiya, Suleja Local Government Area.

The development was contained in a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama on X , where he revealed that the altercation, which began as a dispute over girlfriends, escalated into a deadly brawl.

According to him, the fight broke out on March 6, 2025, around 9:11 p.m., shortly after the Tarawih prayer.

“Over twenty youths and students, allegedly led by an SSS 3 student, Umar Idris, invaded the area armed with dangerous weapons.

“During the clash, gunshots were fired from an unknown direction, hitting two minors,” he said.
