Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu has announced the postponement of Tuesday’s scheduled 2025 national budget presentation to both houses of the National Assembly.

Recall that the N47.9 trillion 2025 Budget was earlier scheduled to be presented to the legislators, but reports within the National Assembly as obtained by DAILY POST correspondent indicated that the presentation has been shifted to Wednesday, 18th December 2024.

The reasons for the postponement were not immediately confirmed, a top National Assembly management confirmed that Wednesday’s presentation was sacrosanct.

The official said a statement to that effect will be officially released in a few hours time.
