Omoyele Sowore, former presidential candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC), claims that the country’s current fuel problem was imposed to suppress Nigerians preparing demonstration on August 1.

In tweet on his account on Monday, Sowore accused mobile telecommunications corporations of purposely targeting Nigerians to impede their capacity to connect and mobilize.

According to him, Nigerians are more motivated than ever to put stop to terrible administration in Nigeria.

He said: “FUEL CRISIS has been introduced to stifle Nigerias planning #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria

TELCOS – @MTNNG @GloWorld @AirtelNigeria are deliberately targeting Nigerians to slow down their ability to communicate and mobilize.

Nigerians are determined more than ever to #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria during the #DaysOfRage
#Nogoingback #RevolutionNow.”
