Police in Niger State have arrested Mohammed Isah for reportedly stabbing his friend, Nurudeen Nuhu, to death over a mobile phone argument. The incident occurred in the abattoir area of Kwata Tayi village, Minna.

According to accounts, the two pals got into a violent confrontation over a phone, and Isah reportedly stabbed Nuhu in the stomach with a knife. Eyewitnesses said that the event occurred on Sunday morning.

After being stabbed, Nuhu fell and was brought to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Niger State Command, Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident to newsmen.
