In a bid to galvanize massive support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the Edo State September 21st election, the Executive Secretary of Akpakomiza Support Group (ASG) and South South APC Zonal Organizing Secretary, Dr. Barr. Blessing Agbomhere, yesterday the 28th of June, 2024, hosted the Leaders and members of the party in Ward One of Etsako Central Local Government Area.
Addressing the mammoth crowd of APC supporters from the Ward in his residence in Fugar,, Dr. Agbomhere, said, the essence of the meeting was to thank the party Leaders and members for their unwavering commitment and contributions towards the success of the party.
And to solicit for their support to enable Senator Monday Okpebholo popularity called (Akpakomiza) to emerge as the next Governor of Edo State.
According to him, a vote for Akpakomiza is a vote for’sustainable development and progress.
The South South Zonal Organizing Secretary of the APC also promised that if elected as the governor of the State, Ward One has a lot to benefit from the administration of Senator Okpebholo.
The Akpakomiza Support Group Executive Secretary, reiterated that the APC guber candidate was a Son of the Ward, hence, the need to give him massive votes to emerge as the Chief Executive of the State.
He appealed to the party members to be patient with the present government of Senator Bola Tinubu to fulfill his electioneering promises he made to’ Nigerians., stating that it takes time for planted crops to germinate and become food.
Dr. Agbomhere, posited that the President was working towards putting the right policies in place that would strengthen our institutions and expressed the assurance that Nigerians would smile before the end of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and sued for their support and cooperation to the President.
The Edo Popular Politician and former National President of Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), also used the medium to canvass support for the Acting State Chairman of the party, Khalifa Jarret Tenebe to enable him to continue to provide the needed direction and leadership to the party.
Earlier, the Ward One APC Chairman, Mallam Suleiman Kadiri, commended the APC South South Zonal Organizing Secretary for his continuous commitment and numerous contributions towards the unity and success of the party and assured him of overwhelmingly victory in the Ward.
In his remark, the APC Zone One Leader, Prince Fred Alemoh, applauded the leadership prowess and contributions of Dr. Agbomhere towards the progress and unity of the party and promised to support him in his quest to take the Ward to greater heights.
Highlight of the meeting was the unanimous endorsement of Senator Okpebholo and Hon. Dennis Idahosa as the governorship and deputy governorship candidates of the Ward in the September governorship poll.
The party supporters also passed a vote of absolute confidence on the leadership of Khalifa Jarret Tenebe in view of his friendly policies and programmes aimed at promoting APC.
With the massive turnout of party supporters and Admirers of the APC, it was glaring that Dr. Blessing Agbomhere is a leader that has endeared himself to the heart of his people
