President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja on Thursday, May 23 for N’Djamena, Republic of Chad, to witness President Mahamat Déby’s inauguration.
President Déby’s inauguration comes after he was declared the winner of the country’s presidential election earlier this month and then confirmed by the Chadian Constitutional Court.
According to a statement from his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu will be joined on the trip by senior government officials and will return following the event.
