Former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi has stated that he will be part of the World IX side that will face England in Soccer Aid, a charity event organized by UNICEF.
This will be the former Nigeria international’s return to Stamford Bridge.
Mikel Obi has been confirmed for the next Soccer Aid match.
The 37-year-old played for the Blues from 2006 till 2017, going on to win the Premier League and Champions League titles.
Since he hung up his boots, he has dabbled into several off-pitch activities, including hosting a podcast and making guest appearances at award shows.
