Toke Makinwa, a Nollywood actress, says she’s weary of being an independent woman.
The media star made the statement while bemoaning the harsh economic conditions on her Instagram page lately.
Makinwa, who had recently returned from an overseas trip, reported finding fuel shortages and an increase in electricity tariffs when she arrived home.
She wrote: “Yoooo, landed in Lagos to all this madness, petrol scarcity, electricity tariff hike, diesel prices not smiling. What is all these? Independent woman don taya [tire] o.”
