Dino Melaye, the former Kogi State governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has entered the current rivalry between Nigerian Afrobeats megastars Wizkid and Davido.
Davido, according to Melaye, is “undoubtedly” the head of the Nigerian music industry and the most commercially successful internationally.
On Wednesday, he said on his X account, “Davido is undoubtedly the 001 in the Nigerian music industry and undoubtedly the most patronised globally.”
According to reports, Wizkid and Davido were recently engaged in a fierce social media war on X.
Davido later challenged Wizkid to a hit battle but the Starboy boss had yet to reply.
