Troops of Operation Haderin Daji, OPHD, have reportedly attacked some bandits’ camps in Zamfara State, forcing the terrorists to flee en-masse.

It was gathered that recently, the bandits were losing ground following the OPHD troops’ operations, both on the ground and in the air, delivering serious attacks on their targets.

The latest offensive included airstrikes on the Bayan Ruwa general area and Bayan Dutsin Gidan-Kano, among other locations, resulting in the destruction of bandits’ camps.

Operations across Zurmi, Kaura Namoda, Maradun, Tsafe, and other areas have significantly curtailed banditry activities.

This medium also learnt from a reliable security source that numerous high-profile bandits’ leaders, including Sani Dangote, Kachalla Chaki, and Lamo Saude, along with over 50 foot soldiers were confirmed to have been neutralized.
