The death has been announced of a former President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Comrade Ali Chiroma and he’s to be buried today.
The Comrade Chiroma died at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), Borno State, after a protracted illness.
A statement by the secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Borno State council on the late Comrade Ali Chiroma, stated that “It is with deep sorrow that I announce the death of Comrade Ali Chiroma mni MON, former President of the Nigerina Labour Congress.
“The sad event occurred this evening at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. “
Meanwhile, burial of the deceased will hold today at about 4pm at his residence 7a Galadima road near Muhammadu Shuwa Memorial Hospital (Nursing Home), Maiduguri.
