Many villagers have been feared killed and several others injured after suspected herdsmen attacked Ugbobi community in Apa LGA of Benue State.
It was gathered that residents have deserted their homes, leaving the attackers to raze their houses and loot food items.
A native of the community, Eric Amodu, lamented that the attack has been on for more than two hours now without any security operatives coming to challenge them.
He said, “It’s been 2 hours since this morning attack began and still no security forces has made any effort. Obvious conspiracy.”
