Ekiti Governor Biodun Oyebanji has commended the efforts of his Lagos counterpart Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for the commissioning of the Red Line Rail Transit on Thursday, February 29.

He made this known via his X handle on Friday, March 1, adding that he is glad that Sanwo-Olu has prioritised the transportation system as a critical component of his development agenda.

Oyebanji wrote: “It was an honour to witness the commissioning of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Red Line rail infrastructure by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu #officialABAT. This milestone is one of the positive outcomes of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s #jidesanwoolu governance agenda—Traffic Management and Transportation in Lagos State.

“Rail is a capital-intensive infrastructure that is vital to the development of any region, and I am glad that Governor Sanwo-Olu has prioritised this transportation system as a critical component of his development agenda.
