President Bola Tinubu is in an emergency meeting with Governors of the Federation, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Chief Nyesom Wike and other stakeholders.
The meeting, which is taking place at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja, is not unconnected with the security and economic crisis ravaging the nation.
Vice President Kashim Shettima is also at the meeting, which commenced around 11:30am on Thursday.
