EDO 2024 | APC Clears Pastor Ize-Iyamu, Idahosa, 10 Other Aspirants | METROWATCH

The All Progressives Congress, APC Edo State gubernatorial aspirants screening committee has cleared 12 persons to battle for the party’s ticket.

The primary elections for the governing party were set for February 22.

According to a statement from Suleiman Muhammad Argungu, the National Organizing Secretary, the screening process was conducted from Thursday to Friday.

Prince Clem Agba, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Lucky Imasuen, Anamero Sunday Dekeri, Pastor Osagie Andrew Ize-Iyamu, and Engineer Gideon Ikhine are among those who were approved by the committee.

The others are Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, Blessing Agbomhere, Danis Idahosa, Prof. Oserheinmen Osunbor, Col. David Imuse, Rtd.

The statement added that “Certificate of Screening will be presented to all the 12 Gubernatorial Aspirants at the Party’s National Secretariat by the National Organising Secretary, Saturday, 10th February, 2024”.
